Peugeot 206 brakes
Just wondered if anyone has an experience in Peugeot 206 brake systems.
My Peugeot is a 1999 1.6 8valve no abs sensor just plain caliper and discs on front and old drums on the back
I did my disks and pads on it a good year ago and all been fine but but for some reason it's always had a lot of travel in the pedal
Does anyone know if this is normal as takes quite a lot of force to make it stop hard and goes half way down before it starts to brake
Other cars I've driven the brakes are as hard as nails and stop almost straight away.
Pads are all good condition and disks barley even have any surface rust on the rim
I did have the rear shoes and cylinders on back brakes replaced 6months ago
Also to note I have lost 1-2cm of brake fluid in resivoir in the last few months
Any advise or guidance is much appreciated
As can't find much wrong with them at the moment myself

Seems like a lot of play to have, do a fluid flush should see you good

Thanks but I have a bad feeling it won't do a lot some how.The bleed nipples seem very old and fragile and I know they will crack.Might have to try and heat up the caliper first.
