Dot 4 to 5.1 Empty Dot 4 to 5.1

I have upgraded my brake fluid from 4 to 5.1 . I have researched it regarding boiling points etc but what is the life expectancy of 5.1  ( 2 years) ????

From what I know DOT 5.1 brake fluid life expectancy depends on how you drive, so everyone would have a different fluid life expectancy. How often you boil the fluid in your brakes, how often you use your vehicle, how you drive, etc, are all factors. The manufacturer might have an recommended life expectancy, but other conditions, such as regional humidity, and weather, should factor into your expectations.
